“I have watched Geoff on his vegan journey with curiosity. He always has a big bowl of things that come directly from the earth with homemade sauces and other vegan goodies. All of these pre-prepared for his meal after the Torah service for Oneg. I have asked him to put together some recipes. So, for your enjoyment, here they are!”

(Mean) Green Salad-Dressing

Here’s the recipe for a tangy vibrant green colored salad sauce:

  • 1) 1 and 1/4 cup water
  • 2) 1/2 avocado
  • 3) 2 medjool dates or 4 regular pitted dates
  • 4) 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 5) 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 6) dash of black pepper
  • 7) 6 tablespoons organic balsamic vinegar
  • 8) cilantro
  • 9) choose one: rosemary, oregano, basil, or thyme

Mix in a blender. Pour chilled on Salad or anything else.
