WARNING JEZEBEL IS ACTIVE.

If you experieced this past week was a nightmare and you could discern it was spiritual attacks but couldn’t understand it, here is some Insight to help you.

Every year between the Roman Catholics Lent and Resurrection Day, Jezebel’s witchcrafts wreak havoc on believers and unbelievers alike. After Resurrection Day, the spiritual climate clears up,until May. If you live in a region where false Miryam (Mary) worship is rising and churches that still partake in the lies of the Roman Catholic Church is dominant, you’ll notice that Jezebel’s witchcrafts rise again in May. That’s because of the traditional “May Crowning” ritual that takes place to honor the Virgin Miryam (Mary) as “the Queen of May.” Candles are lit and flowers offered to her.Essentially, this means there is a hyper focus on devotions to Miryam.

There are two problems with this. First, Miryam doesn’t want or expect our devotion. She wants and expects us to worship the Son of יהוה, Messiah יהושע. Second, by treating Miryam as an idol we’re empowering the spirit of Jezebel.

MIRYAM SHOULD NOT BE WORSHIPPED
Although Scripture describes the mother of יהושע as “highly favored” (Luqas/Luke 1:28), that doesn’t mean she is supposed to be worshipped. In fact, the Greek word for favored in this verse is “charitoo.” Charitoo means grace. יהוה honored Miryam with blessings and grace and we should respect her as the mother of יהושע but not exalt by crowning her in rituals. We’re supposed to throw our crowns at יהושע’ feet (Hazon/Rev. 4:10), not place them on Miryam’s head.

It wasn’t the disciples or apostles—not even Yahuchanan (John) whom יהושע told to care for his mother after His death on the cross (Yahuchanan/John 19:27)—who started building altars to Miryam. Actually, no one can trace its exact origin. Some say it started with the Greeks, who dedicated May to the goddess of fecundity known as Artemis.

The Romans honored Flora, the goddess of blossoms, in May. Apparently, the notion to honor Miryam along with these false gods became popular in the Middle Ages. Catholics are quick to tell you they don’t worship Miryam (Mary) or pray to her. But when we build an altar to Miryam and adorn it with flowers and candles, are we not exalting her to a place that does not belong to her? Are we not worshipping the created instead of the Creator? (Romiyim/Rom. 1:25)

WHO IS THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN?
It’s curious to me that Miryam, the mother of יהושע, is so often called the Queen of Heaven. It’s curious to me because Scripture speaks about the Queen of Heaven as it relates to idols. Specifically, the Queen of Heaven in Scripture refers to a goddess that goes by many names, including Isis, Innana, Astarte, Hera and Asherah. Yirmeyahu/Jer 7:17-19 warns against making altars to the Queen of Heaven:

17 “Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Yehuḏah and in the streets of Yerushalayim?
18 “The children are gathering wood, the fathers are lighting the fire, and the women are kneading their dough, to make cakes for the sovereigness of the heavens, and to pour out drink offerings to other mighty ones, to provoke Me.
19 “Is it Me they are provoking?” declares יהוה. “Is it not themselves – unto the shame of their own faces?”

Scripture talks about Jezebel and her witchcrafts (Melakin Bet/2 Kings 9:22). The spirit of Jezebel is the same as Asherah (also known as Ashtoreth). The Tanak (Old Testament) Jezebel’s father, Ethbal, was the high priest of the goddess Ashtoreth, the queen of heaven. Can you connect the dots? Miryam is not the queen of May, but יהושע is the king of Kings. Spiritual witchcraft is a spiritual force that causes you to feel like quitting and giving up. It makes you tired in your body. The imaginations hitting your mind become more intense and infirmities can manifest. Witchcraft can cause you in growing weary in well doing and even faint if you do not know what you are dealing with and how to battle it. So how do you battle it? You battle witchcraft like every other ruler of darkness of this age, principality, power or spiritual host of wickedness (Ephi’siyim/Eph 6:11-13)

11 Put on the complete armour of Elohim, for you to have power to stand against the schemes of the devil.
12 Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies.
13 Because of this, take up the complete armour of Elohim, so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand, then, having girded your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15 and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace;
16 above all, having taken up the shield of belief with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one.
17 Take also the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim,
18 praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones.

Remember that passivity is not going to deliver you from Jezebel witchcraft. “Put on” is a action word.

Qorintiyim Bet/2 Cor 10:3-6
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not fight according to the flesh.
4 For the weapons we fight with are not fleshly but mighty in Elohim for overthrowing strongholds,
5 overthrowing reasonings and every high matter that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the Messiah
6 and being ready to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is complete.

Kepha Aleph/1 Pet 5:9 Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole Body) throughout the world.

It is easy to give into witchcraft, especially if you don’t know what is attacking you. So again, when you feel like giving up, feeling tired for no reason, when you have strong confusion, when you are fighting an intense battle in your mind and when infirmities are manifesting, it could be witchcraft.

Ya’aqob/James 4:7 So then subject yourselves to Elohim. Resist the devil and he shall flee from you.

Yיהוה barak and guide you in Wisdom AND understanding!
