I have agreed to watch 3 main teaching videos, and 4 biographical videos that a brother has been prompting me to watch. I relented because I hoped that my willingness to “go the extra mile” would result in the chances being higher that this brother could be recovered into fellowship. So, I will give my comments. The Problems I have with the claims in this video: Matthew Nolan would have us believe the Bolsheviks were Ashkenazi atheistic Jews and 250 million Christians were murdered during the Bolshevik revolution in Russia. Nolan must have forgotten that a huge pile of Jews were murdered in fact, so was Satan fighting against Satan in Nolan’s historical reimagining?
Matthew Nolan related that the great US general Patton was quoted as saying “we fought on the wrong side.” However, Nolan makes a startling interpretation of that fact. Nolan uses this to justify sympathy with the German capitulation to the vices of a Nazi demagogue named Hitler. The truth is, that people seemed to have then and not now, was that Patton understood the difference between the Nazis and the Germans. He had fought through the country, he had seen the outrageous acts committed by the Nazis, to the allies, the people they occupied, and to other Germans that did not agree with them. I don’t believe for a minute that he felt the Nazis should still be in power, but he had seen that in the end it was Germany that was also defeated in the process, and he had great respect for Germany and it’s people. It is true that he had no love for the Soviets, and was a strong advocate of continuing on to the east. It does bring up an interesting hypothetical question, of what would have happened if we had. What Matthew Nolan interprets as affinity with the Nazi cause was the opposite, but in fact a desire to punish the communists too. Patton was a warrior committed to American plurality and constitutional ideals and saw both societies, of either Facism, or communism as antithetical to that “city on a hill,” encapsulation known as “America.”
Further, Nolan is conflating Atheist communism with Judaism as a religion and people. Nolan also conflates a genetic definition (i.e. Askenaz from Genesis) with the practices of the Nation of Judea that resonate those elements passed down at the Mount Sinai covenant. This is how Nolan surmises that Trotsky, and the rest were “Jews” simply getting rid of Torah Jews, and he narrates a thread of these figures being a “synagogue of Satan” (never mind none of them even attended a Judaism synagogue) throughout historical events beginning before WWI. Trostky and others were no true Jews, they had converted to Atheism and were simply communists, nothing more. Meanwhile Nolan is setting the Nazi’s up as protagonists in the storyline! Judge for yourselves brethren whether this is an honest rendering of history or a reimagining.
Further, Nolan has the Chutzpah to claim that the indigenous Palestinian farmers are the true Jews, and the inconvenient fact that they are Islamic is casually tossed aside as a simple desire to avoid the Jizya Islamic tax (and probable death). Yet, scripture tells us no true Jew casts aside their historical religion, and any who do are CUT OFF from being Jews or a Jewish Nation.
Nolan is correct that the Palestinian farmers were Shemites, but they are not descended from Jacob or Isaac, they have but only 1 shared ancestor with the Jews, than being Abraham.
Yahweh told Abraham that He would establish his covenant through Isaac, and when Abraham inquired as to Ishmael’s role, Yahweh answered that Ishmael has been blessed and that he “will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.” (Genesis 17).
The truth is Palestinian Christians are being killed and persecuted by HAMAS far more than any Jew from the State of Israel is persecuting them.
Nolan claims more Palestinian Islamic people are coming to the Messiah than any Talmudic Jews. However, Even Tovia Singer the chief anti-missionary claims that they are hemorrhaging 8000 souls a year to the Messianic Faith or churchdom. I would like to see a statistic relative to how many Muslims are coming to the faith in Messiah for comparison before commenting on whether Nolan is again parroting bupkis.
If Matthew Nolan’s errant definition of what makes a Jews is correct, there would be no bible today because the African American slaves taken from the African continent in slave ships lost their religion, and Torah and everything tangible that would have allowed them (if in deed any of them truly were keeping Torah) to have continuity of a people and religion. It was the European Jews who primarily labored to preserve the Hebrew language and Torah providing a basis for what we have today in our English bibles!
Nolan thinks Josephs coat is the only representative of the children Of Isaac and Jacob/Israel, but he forgets there is another stick being accounted for in Ezekiel 37:18, besides just the “stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel associated with him” in that picture. Nolan wants us to beleive the other stick is represented by some poor Palestinian dirt farmers that converted to Islam or descendants of African slaves who lost their religion in the Transatlantic slave trade, if you follow his logic. Its a mishmash really, up is down and left is right, alright.
Matthew Nolan is confused about the fact that Israel includes the three tribes that were left (Judah, Benjamin, and later much of Levi moved to the southern kingdom) after Jeroboam departed with the northern kingdom and set up golden calves at Dan and Bethel. Nolan is under the mistaken impression that Israel is strictly a title belonging to only the stick of Joseph, but the truth is that Israel is a commonwealth belonging to all twelve sons, which are split between two houses, one of which Nolan wants to denigrate as genetically afield of true Shemitic bloodlines. And what of the converts through the ages? The problem is that Nolan fails to understand the conversion commandments which allow outsiders who convert to the Faith handed down at Sinai to become “as one of the people of Israel!” We get it, he hates those white pasty Jews controlling things in Israel, and accounts them ALL the Synagogue of Satan in his scorched earth methodology, while inconveniently forgetting that a lot of the Pharisees even secretly believed in Yahushua Messiah. The simple fact is that Paul already acknowledged the Nation of Judah were enemies of the GOSPEL! Nolan would like to recreate the definition of Jew to be those who clearly are “not the enemy” of the gospel, such as the Black Hebrew Israelites, and the Palestinian dirt farmers, But with the former at least, going about appropriating the accoutrements of Judah and the Name, as the charlatans they are. A clear exception to this would be the Yemenite Jews, who truly are part of the Stick of Judah shown in the book of Ezekiel.
Nolan is dead wrong that Ephraim and Manasseh are the only ones who have the right to the Name Israel, because the very name Israel, reflects the forefather that had 12 sons and they included the three which merged into the stick of Judah. You see, Nolan doesnt seem to realize that all Jews are part of Israel, but NOT all Israel are Jews!
Nolan further misunderstands what Josephs birthright is, claiming instead something that underpins his anti-Jew views and what the majority of Torah keepers view as the clear prophetic establishment of the Nation (for better or worse) of the Jews over in that little piece of real estate the world today calls “Israel,” when he makes the outrageous claim that only Joseph has a right to the real estate over there. The problem with his view is that Joseph was merely entitled to a double portion of the inheritance from his father, Jacob. Ephraim was assigned to preside, or lead, the family of Israel. Ephraim and Manasseh were each given one part of the double portion of inheritance and became two of the “tribes of Israel.” That fact seems to whiz by Nolan as he claims that the Jews have no claim on that real estate too. Even Paul gave us the equation for restoration when Paul said “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” And while a large portion of the Jews rejected Messiah’s offering, there is a reason why Paul established that principle of the Jews first. This metric has followed all throughout scripture even as far back as the Exodus, recounted in the tale of a Judahite prince being the first to reputedly step down into the red sea initiating the departure of the waters!
Well folks, those are my response to this video. As an aside, Nolan further demonstrates his lack of understanding relative to discerning the deeper elements of Torah by a sole and narrow use of the five books of Moses alone, while eschewing any kind of external resources which might enlighten some of the more difficult passages providing historical resolutions of seemingly indiscernible problems – of which we find some of these in Talmud (as distasteful as much of Talmud is)
He has 35k views on that video. So clearly a lot of people are listening to him, but remember, that the majority of the crowd also goes astray lacking the deeper complex reasoning required to reach far enough across the two nations, in order to establish a restoration of the fallen Tent of David.
