To convert him into a Babylonian.
When Hadassah lived in Persia, she was given:
A Persian name,
A Persian makeover,
A Persian husband,
Until nobody recognized her as an Israelite.
When the Assemblies were persicuted in Rome, it was given:
A Roman sabbath,
A Roman calendar,
A Roman council,
Until nobody recognized it as Hebraic.
When people live in popular religions and traditions they receive:
A Torah-less covenant,
A Torah-less doctrine,
A Torah-less tradition,
Until nobody values Eloha’s instructions.
Syncretism with the nations
Leads to abandonment of Eloha’s Torah.
It is the adversary’s displacement.
It is bondage.
